Young Philadelphia demand Egyptian president Mubarak to step down now!

Approximately 250 protesters marched from 22nd and Market streets in Philadelphia to City Hall in support of the Egyptian people calling for the ouster of the current president. The overwhelming theme of todays protest was freedom, stating 30 years is enough. He must go now, not at the end of his current term 6 months from now. Discussion to be held at Temple University planned for 7 pm.

5 & 7 year old Philadelphia Eagles fans attend 2011 NFL Experience in Dallas, Texas. They had planned to attend the 2011 Super Bowl XLV (45) , to be held in Dallas Texas. The home of arch enemies the Dallas Cowboys is the 2011 host. The die-hard youths transplanted from Philadelphia, PA to DFW has never lost their team spirits. Attended the NFL Experience booth and was able to read a broadcast titled never give up!

 Former NY Giants quarterback Phil Simms host , Never Give Up contest for the past 17 weeks. The former NFL quarterback at XXI Super Bowl MVP hosts a contest where the fans share their 2010-11 team highlights where their team never gave up.

City of Philadelphia Jobs program could be reshaped. PWDC,TANF,Jobs and training program on the ropes. The PWDC organization is on the ropes,hell it has been on the ropes for years.Few things are evident,retirement of long time director Ernie Jones (12 years), gone,democratic governor, gone, the department that governs the funds,gone. As new administration will replace many staffers. The Philadelphia EARN center staff does miracles with less and more regulations and directives that are unachievable that didn't work.

To announce a bold step to fight job discrimination against formerly incarcerated persons, Councilwoman Donna Reed-Miller sponsored a bill, which, if ratified, would remove the question of an applicant’s criminal history from employment applications. During a press conference held at the Berean Institute Thursday, Miller joined members of local organizations such as X-Offenders for Community Empowerment (XCE), the NAACP and others to publically announce efforts to “ban the box”.
