Why are all the pictures of Mexicans? Why are they the only ones who can't figure out how to be legal? My wife is a LEGAL immegrant and can't stand these weasels who refuse to obey the law.

Please retitle your story to reflect that these are people who don't want to bother becoming legal like all the other immegrants to this country.

My friend immigrated with her parents when she was 3 years old. She was not able to strengthen her status here. Now at 21 she sees herself in an impossible situation, she can not go to college, she can not drive, she can not travel, and she can not go in a club with her friends or any other place where she has to show an ID. She has been in the US for her whole life, almost, and she refers to it as her country. I want so much for her to become a resident and fully enjoy life.

This is a perfect example of the people who know that they are here in the United STates who did not want to go through the system of legal law. The flags of Mexico have no place on Independence hall where the founding of my country was founded. If they want to work here they have to live by what we have come up with and thought about, which has taken us about 300 and some years to put together. In this day of security and trying to organize our country it does not matter if they are trying to get work or coming here to try and terrorize Americans. We need to clean up our system becuase there are drugs, gangs, and more chances for terrorists to come and do their thing. My mother is from South America and is now a US citizen. She came twenty years ago when she met my father in Guatemala. I love culture and diversity but I do not care for unlawlessness and then wining about not being able to stay becuase of their chances of not staying when they were not allowed in the first place.

It is very sad to read some comment of American who them self, if not, their Grandparents migrated to this country also.All we want is a chance of the American Dream. I just think that it is time for Americans to realize that with out the Illigal Immigrants the economy of the United States could hurt dramaticaly. Blind Fold yourself if you wish but it is the truth.

Just because u agree with a law doesn't mean it's right.Everyones family was an immigrant at one point.This whole country is made up of immigrants.This is what makes up the United States. I thought that the U.S. was called the free land for a reason,I guess when my teachers told me this they were wrong.Just because were from a different country or look different doesn't mean were any less better than everyone else is.WE JUST WANT TO LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM.IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK.

Yes we may all have ancestors that came to America as illegal/legal immigrants. HOWEVER MY forefathers fought for the freedom of this country to make it WHAT IT WAS and IS NOT ANYMORE. It is just like a company you choose to work for. They have their rules and regulations. TO work for them you abide by those rules and regulations. If you do not like them, you find another job. The same thing should be with "MY" country. People that came here and fought years ago for the freedom of this country were the ones that created the rules and regulations. They deserved that right since they fought for it. DO NOT COME HERE if you cannot or do not want to abide by their rules and regulations. Move on to another country or stay in yours. I do not go to your homeland and try to change your ways of life. PLEASE DO NOT DO IT TO MINE! Flying the flag of your country here in the USA shows you do not want to respect my country, you do not want to learn my language and you do not want anything here but the almighty dollar and to run free and hope to get enough of your type over here to change my country. PERHAPS MORE PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF SHOULD GO TO YOUR COUNTRY AND MAKE IT OURS!!! The real proof for me was at my daughters high school graduation the other night. Those that are from other countries within the last 10 or so years and are honestly here to show they are TRUE US CITIZENS have taught their children how to speak English, and respect, work hard and abide by our rules. Those that are here as ignorant buttholes to try to do whatever they want were those whose children would not sit in their seats, were walking all over the place, throwing beach balls around while people were making their speeches AND waving their countries flag here at a US highschool graduation. THIS IS HOW YOU IGNORANT PEOPLE SHOW US THANKS FOR PAYING TO PROVIDE YOUR SO CALLED CHILDREN AN EDUCATION?? They are the ones that just take up space in our classrooms as well, causing such disruption for those that want to learn, that they can't. You are also the so called parents at the graduation the other night that were jumping over the fence partitions to get down where YOUR children were during the ceremony showing just as much disrespect as YOUR children. THE YOU WONDER WHY I/WE DO NOT WANT YOU OR YOUR KIND HERE??? Because you are a disgrace! You are trying to make a mochary of what the ancestors have fought for!
To come to my country you need to fight for it first, then become an English speaking citizen OR GO HOME!!
